Does anyone have a Beretta 92A1 full auto BB pistol?
« on: March 09, 2016, 06:49:29 PM »
I got mine a couple of weeks ago but have been too busy to fire it.  I should be able to test it out this weekend.  Does anyone else have one?  I bought it because it looks like another opportunity for big grins!

I have the GSG92 version sold by Cybergun that came out first in 2012. It is the exact same model as the Beretta, just different branding. Bought mine for $99.99 back then.

Fun to shoot. Feel pretty dead on to the real deal. You will get about 3 good mag dumps before you are out of CO2. I highly recommend you buy three or four extra mags and rotate mags after each mag dump so they can warm up a bit in succession.
Mine shot low and left, so I replaced my rear sight with an adjustable one. Had to JBWeld it in place.

A buddy of mine sells replica Umarex pistols. If you are shopping send fred589 a message.

I bought them because I have two stocks for the M93R and was going to see about fitting them up!  I also have an M93R airsoft that has been on order for a while.  Pyramyd says they will ship around the end of the month.  That has always been one of my favorite guns.  Probably not real practical, but I am sure it will be high on the grin factor.

I had the chance to buy one of the two in the US (transferable) in the mid 90s or so.  I am sure I don't want to know what that is worth now!

I had to check.  I took the grip off which exposes the pin holding in the fitting for the main attachment point.  I will have to make a new attachment fitting to drop it down just a tad to clear the grip.  Then add a couple of notches for the rest of the attachment locations and it should be ready to rock n roll.  The front of the trigger guard has less mass there than the M93R, but the foregrip won't be too much to add anyway.  Hmmm.  Add on a 100 round mag...

They do look like a ton of fun. For the price it looks hard to pass up. I'm seeing if I can't do some horse trading to get my hands on one. In the promo video it looks dead on. A couple of people have been fooled with my Umarex P30 even though there is a seem dividing the slide.

Do it! That would be a sight to see.

"...add on a 100 round mag." ...Heh! Interesting idea. I never thought about milling a high cap mag for these CO2 pistols before. Should be easy enough to mill.

Since we are talking about the M93R, recognize this dressed up version from an iconic movie?

Robocop!  Realer than real!

I tried to buy one of those about a month ago but they are no longer made and the ones I have found are $350 or more.  I do have a bunch of pictures of the Robocop slide and it does not look too hard to make.  I want to do the M93r first.
