Yeah steel bb’s. With 1600psi it is shooting 1200-1210fps at best. I have no blow-by loss because my barrel threads into the valve body face. I welded the breach nut to it then grinded it down so i can thread the barrel a few turns.

Even though I didn't find any any fps gain something else I found was that it makes extreme ROF much more reliable. All I can guess is that it takes all of the flex out of the feed chute preventing double stacking. I'm releasing my first 6K bird back to the wild tomorrow. I'll see if I can find something to destroy with it first.

One of the big issues I remember that this mod I made addressed was the "sta-puft marshmallow mag" syndrome. When we started running high pressure air, it would split the mag right open, and people were trying to put extra bolts through to try to prevent that from happening. There are several small vents on the neck to allow the air to blow out, but this fixed all that, and closes those holes. It does work. I knew it improved the velocity, but I could never measure how much. I'm glad someone finally put it to the test. I have a saying that in my experience, the secret to happiness is learning to sort the occasional good idea from an endless body of bad ones. This was a good one.

I talked to a friend of mine who works at the scrap yard, he told me that have a couple of high pressure scuba/scba compressors out there, and that I can buy one from there for $0.39 per pound! The question now, is, what do they weigh? I have to love that, they sell everything by the pound, unbelievable! He brought me a couple of cool argon lab lasers, once, too. They get all kinds of strange things that come in. By the pound, can you believe it?

I'm thinking that the threads all stripped out because, as I said, they are metric. They won't interchange with NPT sizes without some kind of adapter. I couldn't find an adapter.

these are crap, I would not buy them again! I have one here, when sent to me, I put the pump together and the threads were all stripped out, and doesn't work. Waist of time and money. will just save up and get a shoebox or other 4500 psi pump

These seals are available now. If you are still using the amber seals this one can give you 50+fps. For the price of two you can't find any other off the shelf mod that will do this, and they are less expensive than any other seals on the market. I tested a total of five, or six prototypes. Watch my video for more details about their performance. Don't forget to read the whole description below the video. These have been going into all of my builds lately. The only thing in this for me is permission to sell them in builds, but who cares? These seals rock!

No. I just get them from Sergey. He sends four with each board. I started backing the housings with Gorilla Tape a while back. It holds way better than trying to epoxy them to a piece of plastic. It makes them silent, and it's also easy to get the board out.
