Drozd and Blackbird Discussion / Ninja Pro V2 Regulators
« Last post by Parellax on June 15, 2018, 04:54:12 PM »
I posted about these yesterday. I had Ninja custom build them for me/us. The benefit of the Ninja Pro V2 regulator besides the quality, and the fact they are made in the USA is the bonnet on them will rotate. Most of you know what I am talking about, but for those of you who do not these are perfect for direct connect because you can move the dial where you want it after you screw it into your adapter. Normally the Pro V2 only comes with a maximum output of 1100psi, but they built these for me/us at 1400psi. They will also build them at 1200psi, but I am stuck on 1400psi these days because 1600psi only gives me a 10fps gain. Also if you want more output pressure I have Ninja 1600psi regs on hand. They do not rotate, and need a special UFA these days because the valves on the X Pressure regulators are recessed. Both I have in stock are only for 4500 bottles. Message me if you want one. They are going on YouTube soon.

DUBB. A while back you know who we used to use for air started doing my customers wrong for air bottles, and regs. So now I am a Ninja dealer. When I ordered some 1600psi regs I found out they are making them with a recessed valve these days so they are not compatible with paintball. Here is my solution for direct connect junkies with the Internal valve, and pressure above 1400psi. It is a 2mm thick brass rod that has been secured with permanent Loctite into a hole drilled in the center of the adapter. The one on my rig is threaded so I can remove it. This one is not. It also works with an ASA adapter without flow restriction. I will refine this for a standard threaded pin later.

I mentioned 1400psi because Ninja will build the V2 up to 1400psi for us. This will allow us to have a high quality reg we can swivel into the desired position for direct connect that are paintball compatible. I have some ordered that will be here tomorrow. Above 1400psi in Ninja products we will need to move up to the Ninja X Pressure reg that does not swivel. I did a test the other day to find a gain of only 10fps from 1400psi to 1600psi.

I just redid the feed tube mod, this time I used a piece of ss tube that was 1/4" OD. To do that, I have a really long 1/4" drill bit. I first used that to gauge the depth, and put a piece of tape around the bit to mark the depth. Then, I put the mag body together without the stem, and just drilled it out to the depth of the tape. 1/4" is a lot of plastic to hog out of the neck.

I just tried changing seals on a new mag stem and inlet block. Those 10x2's just don't want to squeeze in there at all! They are still the best choice for the inlet seal, and I dunno, it just might be this particular stem and block. The original size should be 10.5x1.5, which is a ridiculous size to try to replace. I don't know what they were thinking, aside from reaming us for spare parts. But if that were the case, you'd think they would make them more available than they ever did, wouldn't you?

The same thing is going on with the titanium valves. I really hope they get that one right. Of course I'd be more than happy to share my data with any American here to build the same thing better.

Ya'll threw up, and went home. I'm still at the party.

It does. You can see an ASA in the background of the first pic. It's about 1/4" longer than using a custom Foster adapter. Hands down best HPA adapter on the market. At first they were shit. The ones available now are spot on. I offer them in my builds.

No shit, that setup would make very good use of an asa inlet block!
