Drozd and Blackbird Discussion / 700 rd auto-feed for Bumble Bee
« on: August 26, 2016, 07:08:38 AM »
I see everyones favorite place Innova is coming out with this...
Watch this space for the custom-engineered 700-BB autofire-ready clip for the Classic Drozd (also known as the "Bumblebee")

I don't care anymore as I've lost interest in this hobby. Nothing new and the world of PCP's have much more to offer.
So keep an eye on the classified as I'm probably going to be selling to help fund my newer interest.Just a little teaser there!

Other Airgun Discussions / MCX Repair
« on: June 03, 2016, 04:18:16 PM »
So after several months my MCX started jamming with the same wad cutter pellets I'd been using. Then it started leaking CO2 out the receiver just like my 2 MPX's. To late now to get a refund. I called Sig and to my surprise they payed the shipping to send it back for repair

I got it back today and the repairs were... chamfered chamber feed ramp, replaced mag belt(pellets load much easier now) and replaced valve body assembly. So will see how long it holds up this time.

Too bad I have one of those too. Would have given you a good deal as it's not one of my favorites either and never shoot it.

Well with the issues I had with the MPX right off and lucky enough to send back and get a refund now after 2 months my MCX bit the dust. Started jamming all the time then blew out like my MPX and leaking CO2 out the receiver.Really what can one say?Now it will no doubt cost to ship back to Sig and really is it worth it. I'd just as soon smash it to pieces than spend 50.00 dollars in shipping and end up with another POS.

Ordered a 4500 psi compressor and getting into PCP. Done with these cheap POS.

Let me know I'll sell it.I have a big collection and it's not my favorite.

I have one. I attach one of those AR brass catchers to it to catch the plastic BB adapters. To be honest the guns not worth the money and kind of boring to shoot as well as the hassle of loading the BB's.It would be my first gun to sell if I found someone to buy it.

And if you look thru some of the reviews and theres not a lot you'll see I'm not the only one to have had this happen to.Really a big disappointment on this line of guns.Geez did anyone do any kind of lengthy real world testing before release. Makes you wonder just how bad the 22 version was that a year latter still isn't available.

Well I've fired one 90 gram CO2 bottle thru my MCX without issue. I recently purchased the MPX from Pyramyd Air and after the second shot started leaking CO2 somewhere in the receiver. So still with in my 30 days I sent it back and they sent me another one. Well today I just got done sighting it in with my new red dot on it and guess what....same thing started leaking. And I waited hoping that by now they would have corrected the issue's with these guns.No wonder the 22 version is a year behind release.

I would love to have something more than the 30rd mag for the Drozd. After shooting the the Blackbird having to keep reloading the Drozd takes away a lot of the fun.100rd minimum I'd say or a motor fed like the Blackbird with high capacity. :D Very interested.
